B.B.S in Biblical Counseling
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Boston Baptist College’s Biblical Counseling program is designed for individuals who aim to guide others who may be struggling using the light and hope provided through Scripture. Biblical Counseling students focus their studies on developing the skillsets they need to be a light in a dark world and to help those who are hurting.
By combining our foundational element of Biblical education with the modern tools of counseling, students are challenged to evaluate how their faith interacts with mental health and counseling techniques, preparing them for careers in both Christian and secular business environments. Students are also challenged to analyze existing counseling methods and to seek new solutions to help others cope with trauma and pain.
AT BOSTON BAPTIST college, Biblical counseling students are equipped with the tools they need to be a light in a dark world.
Our graduates have continued on to be effective counselors and therapists in both Christian and secular environments and organizations. Some students in this program can qualify to begin working towards their Master’s in Conflict Resolution (M.A.) from the University of Massachusetts-Boston through our Accelerated Master’s Program, saving them time and money while granting them even greater opportunities.
