B.B.S in Education
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Boston Baptist College’s Education program is designed for individuals who a desire to shape and influence the next generation. Education students focus their studies on developing the skillsets required for managing a classroom and creating an environment in which minds of the young and the old can learn effectively.
By combining our foundational element of Biblical education with the modern tools of leading a classroom, students are challenged to evaluate how their faith interacts with their ability to teach, preparing them for careers in both Christian and secular education environments. Students are also challenged to analyze how the changing landscapes of our world affect their classroom and learn to develop thoughtful and intentional curriculum that carry their students to greater heights
At Boston baptist college, our education program prepares students to become the next set educators that help create a better world.
Our graduates have continued on to lead in various educational environments and organizations ranging from the classroom to educational non-profits. Some students in this program can qualify to begin working towards their Master’s in Middle/Secondary Education (w/ Initial Licensure) from the University of Massachusetts-Boston through our Accelerated Master’s Program, saving them time and money while granting them even greater opportunities.
Students in our Education program have three distinct emphases from which they can choose the course of their degree focus:
Early Childhood Education — Developing skills needed to teach Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students.
Elementary Education — Developing skills needed to teach 1st Grade to 6th grade students.
Secondary Education — Developing skills needed to teach Middle & High School students.

PROF. KRISTIN CLARK — AFFILIATE PROFESSOR OF EDUCATION
Professor Kristin Clark has earned her M.S. from Bay Path University and also works as a Special Education teacher in the Boston Public School System. She is an expert in classroom management and in special needs curriculum development.
