PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Boston Baptist College's History program is designed for individuals who have a passion for understanding the past and have a desire to use their knowledge to better our future. History students focus their studies on a number of different historical periods ranging from Ancient History to Modern History.
By combining our foundational element of Biblical education with the tools of historical analysis, students are challenged to evaluate how Christianity has impacted and been impacted by various eras of history. They are also challenged to develop analytical skills that allow them to learn from the past to create a brighter future.
By combining our foundational element of Biblical education with the modern tools of leading a classroom, students are challenged to evaluate how their faith interacts with their ability to teach, preparing them for careers in both Christian and secular education environments. Students are also challenged to analyze how the changing landscapes of our world affect their classroom and learn to develop thoughtful and intentional curriculum that carry their students to greater heights
At Boston Baptist College, our history program works to connect the past with our future, creating a brighter horizon for us all.
Our graduates have continued on to lead in various historically-oriented environments ranging from the classroom to museums.
